Agbeve herbal Centre primarily began with Alhaji Mohammed Agbeve in 1979 with the sales of herbal products in rubbers mainly as purgative in vehicles plying the Volta roots especially Angola. Later in 1980’s there about transformed to a small manufacturing unit and a clinic at Abeka near Eno-mirek hotel. It was moved to rescue point near sowutuom in 1995 and currently located at sowutuom-last stop. During this processes, the company saw more prospects hence it was registered as an enterprise in 1999 with name Agbeve Herbal Centre. As the industry grow, the sales of the products move into mainly vans with horns as main source of publicity within the 90’s. Agbeve Tonic initially called Agbeve sweet Tonic and Agbeve balm formally called super balm gain prominene with the local Ga settings with huge patronage. The entity went through series of transformation and challenges but due to its strong acceptance by the public it was sustain. In 2011, the Centre with ultramodern hospital was inaugurated to enable it serve large number of clients. The facility is licensed by Traditional Medicine Practice Council of Ministry of Health. The Centre contains seven departments which are the OPD where vital signs of patient are being checked, consulting room where patient go to see doctors, laboratory where samples of patients are being take and worked on using ultramodern machines, scan where patients are being checked using ultramodern ultrasound machine, pharmacy where medications are being dispensed to patients, physiotherapy where patients go for massage using the machines and manual systems and the gym where patients and clients go for exercise. These departments have well trained professionals serving client on a daily basis. Agbeve Herbal Centre has currently constructed a state of art pharmaceutical factory to meet the increasing demand of our products and services both at the hospital and by the general public. Agbeve Herbal Centre also has the capacity to do contact manufacturing for other manufacturers. We have ten products on the market which has been approved by the Food & Drugs Authority. The products are Agbeve tonic, Agbeve Phevah, Agbeve balm, Agbeve MW capsules, Agbeve Typha, Agbeve venox Ghotah, Mona soap, Mona Krim, Agbeve herbalmix capsules and Agbeve herbal tea. The long years of operation in the indigenous herbal field coupled with in-depth scientific knowledge rank the facility higher compared to other Herbal Medical service providers. Amongst our competitors in the Ghanaian community, Agbeve Herbal Hospital has the biggest facility and state of the art machine. Comparing pricing, ours is the best so far.
